The Paper Artist/Creative Card Design

  Though we have a whole new catalogue of products coming on May 3/2022, I want to keep reminding you of the beautiful stamp sets, bundles and punches that we already have available to us! This gorgeous card was created with Expressions in Ink Paper and the Dragonfly Bundle .  The Dragonflies are embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and then punched out with the Dragonfly punch.  This card is just simply stunning!  Heat embossing is done by first stamping the image you would like to heat emboss on the desired cardstock using VersaMark , then sprinkling with the Gold Embossing powder.  Then set with a heat tool such as the heat & emboss tool .  What an incredible effect it creates when you heat emboss an image or a sentiment on a card.   Just a few days left until Stampin' Up releases the New 2022 -23 Catalogue, on May 3rd!!  The above card shows off the beautiful Hues of Happiness Suite.  The roses are so beautiful! I colored these images, however the full Suite of products does come with a beautiful designer series paper that allows you to cut out the roses from the paper with the dies.  Each sheet of paper in this paper pack is just as gorgeous as the next.  The roses are so easy to cut out, that making a card with this suite of products takes only minutes.  For this card I used designer series paper from the " Heart & Home " paper pack. Lovely paper as well, I love the old weathered board designs in it.  This paper reminds me of an old farmhouse with those wallpaper looks and the old painted boards, which happens to be a look I love!   Happy Mail ~ Who doesn't love happy mail? Today, I received happy mail, and it was beautiful happy mail!  Look! How gorgeous is this card from my friend Sheila? This card came all the way from Australia to Ontario. I love it, thank you so much Sheila! Sheila is a multi talented lady creating hand made cards and the most beautiful embroidery work.   I created this card using the Dragonfly Punch , and the dies from the Dandy Garden Wishes die set .  I used blending brushes to blend Pool Party Ink, Fresh Freesia Ink, and Pale Papaya Ink to create the background paper. Then just simple cut 3 of the tiny dragonflies from the Dragonfly punch in Black Cardstock. I also used Black Cardstock for the die cut pieces from the Dandy Wishes Dies.  The sentiment was stamped from Garden Wishes Stamp Set .

  Today's 5 Minute Monday cards were designed using 2 different stamp sets, both equally as beautiful. Dragonfly Garden ( which we used last week ), and Garden Wishes. I'm pretty sure I sang the praises for both of these sets last week! I find them extremely amazing to create with.
