Flashback Friday ~ Create a Card - Hello Cupcake

Image
Here's a flashback to the "Hello Cupcake" stamp set!  This stamp set has created some tasty greeting cards in my studio in the past.  I even used it to decorate a cookbook filled with cake and cupcake recipes ~ scrapbook style.  I thought it was time to pull it out and create a card. I do that often with a retired stamp set from days gone by... for one there are certain sets that I just love, and secondly to encourage every one to use the supplies you already have in your crafting stash. We are about to embark on another new Annual Catalogue at Stampin' Up, plus some amazing new colors for ink, cardstock, designer paper, ribbon and embellishments.  While the New Catalogue release is always exciting, we need to continue to create using the great products we already have. So today I combined the "Hello Cupcake" with some of the newly released Country Gingham designer paper.  I also used some embellishments that are currently in the clearance bin ~ Expressi...

Peekaboo Window Card ~ Using Circle Dies ~ Sentimental Park

Image
An Irresistible Thank you Card Let me just first talk about this gorgeous designer paper ~ Hello Irresistible  This paper is just simply stand alone beautiful! Which makes cards so easy to create when you using it. Just look at all of those beautiful prints! If you're not into florals the back sides of the paper are just as stunning ~ that's actually why I purchased the paper pack. With this much beauty I couldn't help but add a circle die to create this Peekaboo Window Card. Adding a few die cut flowers and a sentiment from the Sentimental Park Bundle were the perfect addition to this card. 5 Minute Monday ~ Sentimental Park

Image
Today's 5 Minute Monday features this lovely card that can be created in just minutes.  The main attraction of the card is the gorgeous designer paper ~ Hello Irresistible  How beautiful is this paper?! Every piece of it is just as stunning as the last... which makes it the perfect pack of paper for creating quick cards.  In reality, one could use this paper with a sentiment to complete the whole card and the card would still be amazing! For today's card I decided to add a little more pizzazz by cutting a sentiment border from the Sentimental Park Bundle . Initially I had decided I wasn't going to purchase this bundle however I earned some rewards as a demonstrator so I used those to get the set FREE... one of the many perks of joining Stampin' Up !  This bundle ended up being a great score due to the versatility of the sentiments. You can mix and match to build your own sentiment allowing you to cover many occasions with just one stamp set.  The dies ar...

Pop Up Center Fun Fold Card ~ Creating cards with Circle Dies

Image
These Pop Up Fun Folds are so adorable  and so much fun to make!!  They are created using a circle die cut.  Does everyone have a circle die? I hope so ~ because we have a series of cards coming that all use a circle die or a series of circle dies. I'm sure you have created a card using a circle image before, however I am hoping we will create something that you maybe haven't done yet!  This adorably fun layout is actually a very easy  pop up fun fold design. I have used the Rain or Shine Suite of products ~  you can use whatever stamp sets and designer paper you might have in your stash.  Purchase the PDF Tutorial to create this card   Here's another cute example of this card using the Friendly Gnomes Stamp set... and check out his cute little bunny ears!   Proof that the imagination has no limits!  My friend Barb was visiting in my studio yesterday and helping me craft up this card. We decided to see what happened if we put a li...
