The Paper Artist/Creative Card Design

    It's not Monday... however here is a super quick card tutorial featuring the Wonderful World designer paper that was just featured during Sale a-bration. Hopefully you are lucky enough to have some of this paper still hanging about!  Click to watch the Video  Card Cutting Measurements: Polished Pink Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  Scored @ 4 1/4  Basic White Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4 Scrap to Stamp Greeting Soft Seafoam Sheer Ribbon Gems or Rhinestones to coordinate Instructions:  Cut & Score card pieces. Emboss the Basic White Layer and attach to the front of card base. Fussy cut a large flower from the Wonderful World Designer Paper.  Attach flower to card front using dimensionals. Tie a bow and attach to the stem of the flowers. Stamp a greeting on a scrap of basic white cardstock, trim to desired size, and attach to the card front. Add a few coordinating gems or rhinestones.

Makes a perfect masculine card, or just for anyone who loves the peace of an outdoor scene. I created this card in a few different versions. The one above used the Grassy Grove Bundle. I also made one using the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set and the Grassy Grove Bundle. However the original version of this card was created for my Christmas card collection and I'll be sharing that in the next little while.  It's super cute! 

  Here's an additional card that fell into last week's 5 Minute Monday  ~ Aspen Tree Dies . I still have a few of them to share!  The concept was so easy to create multiple cards by simply changing out the focal image. Or were the beautiful die cut trees the focal image?   This one features another piece of the beautiful paper from Rings of Love paper pack available for just another 2 days as well as a cute little squirrel from the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set. So if you want this designer paper FREE,  you need to grab it before Aug. 31st when Sale a-bration ends!! 

  Summer is fading fast...  I've noticed a few leaves changing to a beautiful Merlot color, daylight is getting shorter each day, and the squirrels are starting to store food for winter.   Today's card features a grey squirrel scurrying up a branch to stash his treasure of an acorn. It's quick and easy to create.   I created this super cute card last week and forgot to post it!   It's the perfect reminder that Sale a-bration is coming to an end ~ so if you haven't cashed in on the Hippest Hippo Stamp Set & Hippo Dies yet... time is running out! Sale a-bration ends on August 31, 2022 and so do these adorable Hippos!  This card is a a simple theatre type fold with a slider track added for the little Hippo and his boat to travel across the water on the card front!   This beautiful card was also created using that amazing die from the Aspen Dies included in the Perched in a Tree Bundle . The Rings of Love Designer Series Paper was also used again for the background of the card. The card measurements & Instructions are the same as 5 Minute Monday ~ Aspen Tree Dies This time I stamped a branch and the bird from the Perched in a tree stamp set. I colored the bird to coordinate with the background paper and perched him on the tree branch on the card front. I stamped a simple " Happy Birthday" greeting from the Go To Greetings stamp set and attached.    Product Links:
