Super Fun Birthday Card ~ Woodland Wonder Birthday Card Recipe

I saw this Accordion style card in a floral style from another card artist, and immediately thought "that's it, that's the style of card I need to finally use my Woodland Wonder stamp set".  I needed a design that was long enough to feature the tall tree.

I cozied up in my studio this afternoon to let the card unfold....

Ingredients & Instructions:

Fold at your score lines. Attach white cardstock back to 1 piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.

  Like this -

Attach the second piece of Mossy Meadow to the small flap of White Cardstock, so it looks like this -

Use the remaining piece of white cardstock to stamp the first section of the tree ( just a little to the left ).

I used Memento Black Ink.

You can then attach the remaining piece of white cardstock centered in the middle of the Mossy Meadow cardstock to form your card front.  At which point it should look like this.

Lining up the tree trunk pieces, stamp the second part of the tree. Then the tree trunk.

Stamp the "hooray" sign, the bunny, butterflies, some musical notes, the additional little "yay"sign.  Placement for these items can be where ever you like, that's the fun of the stamp set.

It's time for the fun part!! Coloring! Everyone loves to color!
I use Stamp & Blend markers. You can use what ever markers you have, coloring pencils, or even your Crayola's!! :)
However, I do just want to say that Stamp & Blends really add so much to the creative coloring experience.  The colors coordinate with all of Stampin Up papers, and ink pads.  The end result looks so professional.

As you can see, I also added some clouds using a Balmy Blue ink pad and colored those in as well.

I stamped a sentiment, and a crooked one at that!  As long as the card recipient has a crooked eye, that'll work out just fine! lol

I used a die shape from the In Blooms die cut set, and stamped a " Happy Birthday" greeting using a Garden Green ink pad. I then attached it to the top of the card with a few dimensionals for some visual appeal.

Voila!! A Super Fun Birthday Card unfolds!!

Thanks for stopping by to have a peek!

As always,
The Paper Artist
