Picket Fence Pick of the Patch Fun Fold Card - Harvest Together



How cute is this Picket Fence Pick of the Patch Card?
Yes, your right, it's adorable! 
And once again... I mixed and matched some stamp sets to create this fun card, along with a stencil for the background on the inside of the card. 
Pulling products from all around the craft room encouraging you to do the same. 

As well as created a bit of storyline like we talked about in the Snow Bunny card a few posts back. The see thru picket fence on the bottom of the card front creates an element of intrigue - the recipient wants to know what's behind that fence?!


The card tents up like an easel which comes from our tutorial for the Glowing Autumn Card last week. Same measurements. 



The story unfolds on the inside of the card with this lovely stenciled apple tree and a basket on the ground with apples tumbling out of it. 
Die cut green grass acts as a place holder for the card when its upright position to hold the card in place for showcasing.

I guess there would have been a little more of a story if I had stamped an inside sentiment, however I didn't yet.  I'm still deciding what I would like to say inside of this fun autumn card. There is certainly plenty of room for a sentiment and for writing a personal message. 

I used Harvest Together stamp & die set from Art Impressions. 
It's an incredibly cute set of scarecrows, a fall birdhouse, crows ( all with coordinating dies ) as well as fun fall sentiments. Great price for a stamp set and dies. I also used some random pumpkins &  A Walk in the Park stencil that I had in my craft stash. I created the grass with Lawn Fawn - Grassy border, which is a favorite in my studio. It gets used on a lot of projects! 

The fence was cut from strips of brown cardstock that was first embossed 
with a wood grain embossing folder.  I just trimmed up the fence post to
 form a picket with my paper scissors. 

I can do a tutorial for this card, or one using the picket fence technique if
 there is enough interest. Interest is generated from the comments on this post.

Chasing Butterflies - Celebration Card

Chasing Butterflies This adorable bear looks like he is trying to catch butterflies and that are fluttering by with some Celebration wishes... This is yet another lovely image from the Penny Black - Cherished Collection -              Fur & Flutters stamp set The teddy bear images from this stamp set are super cute to work with. The first card design was so well loved that I created this card using the same layout with a different teddy bear image. I did in fact, create all 3 bears from the stamp set using this same card layout.  The layout is fun and playful with a postage stamp die used to create the focal point. Some twine wrapped around the card base and tied in a bow. Sparkling splatters of Cosmic Shimmer highlight the butterflies.
