Okay Fine… I Made The Trending Chair Card

If you’ve been scrolling social media lately, you already know — The Chair has entered. Every second post is a cozy little 3D chair card, sometimes with a curled-up kitty, sometimes styled for the season… and honestly? I was feeling a little left out.

Of course I had to join the fun.

Let me introduce you to my version of this oh-so-trendy, ridiculously adorable 3-dimensional chair greeting card. Isn’t she cute?! That teal plaid? The sweet little heart pillow? The bright pink throw blanket draped over the arm like it’s waiting for a cup of tea and a good book? I can’t even.



What makes this card extra special (besides the fact that it makes you want to shrink down and sit in it) is that it folds completely flat to slip into an envelope (included in the file). Then — magic moment — when it’s removed, it pops right back up into its full cozy chair form. It’s basically engineering meets paper crafting, and I am here for it.


There’s also a lovely little space on the back for your sentiment. Because as cute as this chair is, it still needs a heartfelt message to make it official.

This fabulous SVG file is from SVGCuts.com (for about the price of a coffee — which, let’s be honest, is a very reasonable crafting investment). The file cuts beautifully and assembles into such a sturdy, dimensional piece. If you’ve been wanting to dip your toe into more interactive or 3D cards, this is a really fun one to try.

Is it trending? Absolutely.
Is it worth the hype? Also absolutely.
Will I make another one… maybe with a cat next time? We’re not ruling anything out.

Sometimes you just have to embrace the trend, grab your cardstock, and build the chair.

Chasing Butterflies - Celebration Card

Chasing Butterflies This adorable bear looks like he is trying to catch butterflies and that are fluttering by with some Celebration wishes... This is yet another lovely image from the Penny Black - Cherished Collection -              Fur & Flutters stamp set The teddy bear images from this stamp set are super cute to work with. The first card design was so well loved that I created this card using the same layout with a different teddy bear image. I did in fact, create all 3 bears from the stamp set using this same card layout.  The layout is fun and playful with a postage stamp die used to create the focal point. Some twine wrapped around the card base and tied in a bow. Sparkling splatters of Cosmic Shimmer highlight the butterflies. Falling for Gingham: A Handmade Autumn Card

  Autumn vibes, paper style—cozy, simple, and no rake required. The leaves are turning, the air is getting crisp, and my coffee has officially transitioned from iced to “extra hot, please.” That can only mean one thing—it’s autumn card-making season! And while the real trees outside might be dropping crunchy brown leaves all over my yard, I thought I’d keep things a little prettier (and less rake-required) with these cheerful plaid leaves. Because let’s be honest, plaid makes everything better—even Monday mornings. So while the squirrels are busy stocking up for winter and I’m over here stocking up on coffee beans, this little card is my way of sending cozy autumn vibes your way.
